The client is a large pharmaceutical company operating in Oncology, Cardiology and the Generics fields. Keyrus Life Science has been working for this company for many years, mainly in Biometry, on all our delivery models: consulting, service platforms (FSP) and Projects.
Wishing to adapt their outsourcing strategy, our client decided to switch all its service platforms from 'commitment on means' to a 'commitment on results' model. The objective of this new model is to get a better control on the operating costs, while offering an agile and sustainable solution for the operational teams (KLS and the client).
1. Clarification of roles and responsibilities (Sponsor and Keyrus Life Science). 2. Breakdown of activities into "units of work", adapted to the client's processes, taking into account different levels of complexity (depending on the project/study). 3. Transition phase: test the new model on a large scale & adapt project management tools. 4. Training and Change Management for the operational teams (KLS and Client).
This new ‘delivrable-based’ model has helped the client to better control its outsourcing costs, in accordance with its operational organization, while preserving the fluidity of functionning of these platforms. This strategic support project has also strengthened the long-term partnership between Keyrus Life Science and the client.
